Flooding will continue through at least next week. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1040 AM CDT, River gauges along the Fox River Chain of Lakes indicate that water levels are slowly receding following a crest in major flood stage. The latest forecast from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources indicates that water levels should continue to slowly recede into next week. - Water levels are expected to remain above flood stage through most of this coming week. However, if additional heavy rainfall occurs on Monday, flooding could persist into the first week of May. - Some locations that will experience flooding include areas along the Fox River Chain of Lakes, including Nippersink Lake, Fox Lake, Pistakee Lake, Petite Lake, Lake Marie, Channel Lake, and Lake Catherine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
