In west central Michigan, Muskegon, Newaygo and Oceana. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1152 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - 1 to 2 inches have fallen over the two hours over the White River and will flow back to Whitehall and Montague. Fremont, Hesperia and Newaygo have all received 2 to 4 inches of rainfall over the last few days which will cause any additional rain to be runoff. Rainfall will continue overnight into early Thursday morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
