A band of rain and snow showers will transition to snow as it tracks across northeast Indiana, south central Lower Michigan, and northwest Indiana. A quick half inch to locally one inch of snow accumulation is possible through 2 PM EST as this band shifts from west to east. Visibilities may briefly be reduced to one half mile or less in snow as northwest wind gusts to 30 to 35 mph are expected to accompany the snow. Roads may become slick due to these light snow accumulations and temperatures dropping into the mid and upper 20s this afternoon behind a cold front. Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
