A narrow band of moderate to briefly heavy snow will move through the area overnight, most likely along and north of a line from Iowa City to Geneseo to Princeton through 1 AM. The snow will only last for 30 to 90 minutes but could result accumulations of a dusting to around 1 inch and reduced visibility to under a half mile. Allow extra travel time and use heightened caution if traveling in this portion of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois, including along U.S. Highways 30 and 61, and along Interstate 80. Leave plenty of stopping distance in front of you.
