For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London, Lake Poygan...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wolf River at New London. * WHEN...Until Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.1 feet, Floodwaters begin to cover portions of West Wolf River Avenue downstream of New London. Widespread lowland flooding is occurring from New London to Fremont. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM CDT Friday was 10.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 8.4 feet Friday, April 17. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
