Northern Jasper County in northwestern Indiana... * Until 830 PM CDT. * At 709 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake Village, moving east at 35 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR AREAS ON AND NEAR THE KANKAKEE RIVER. HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. * Locations impacted include... Valparaiso, DeMotte, Hebron, Wheatfield, Lakes of the Four Seasons, Roselawn, Kouts, Boone Grove, Baileys Corner, Stoutsburg, Fair Oaks, Dunns Bridge, and Malden.
