A quick 0.5 to 1 inch of snowfall accumulation is expected with higher amounts in northern areas. Another round of precipitation is expected develop during the mid-late afternoon hours. Initially the precipitation will be in the form of rain or a rain/snow mix with temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s. A transition to snow is expected to occur by early evening, with some potential impact to the Friday evening commute. If traveling, be alert for rapidly changing conditions in short distances.
