Southwestern Martin County in southwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 641 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to overnight thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen since Friday afternoon. - Thunderstorms are diminishing but additional rainfall amounts up to 0.50 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wabash River at Vincennes down to Mount Carmel. .Recent, mainly light to moderate rainfall...and additional areas of to widespread heavy rainfall amounts up to three inches total over southern Indiana through midday Saturday...is expected to prolong minor flooding or bring an additional crest on the lower White, lower Wabash, and at Seymour on the East Fork White. Minor flooding could continue into early next week on portions of the lower White and lower Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Significant agricultural lands begins to flood. High water affects some local roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 7.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday afternoon to a crest of 12.1 feet Sunday evening.
