River levels in these areas will rise or remain near steady through at least Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Petersburg. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56 floods and blocks the vehicle access to Dodge City. During the March 2008 flood the river remained above this level from late afternoon March 19 through April 9. As mid-March 2011 high water was receding...SR 257 south of Washington reopened when Shoals was at 10.5 feet and falling steadily for the past 2 days. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Saturday /7:45 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 18.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Saturday /7:45 PM CDT Saturday/ was 18.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet Monday evening.
