The forecast crest is still 23.8 feet. This would be a bit higher than the crest observed in April, 2025, and about a foot less than the flood of record, which occurred in May, 2011. Major flood impacts are forecast to continue until this weekend, when water levels will begin to fall. For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland.
