River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Moreau River near Jefferson City. * WHEN...From this evening to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Near this height, Zion Road will be closed. This road is about 12 river miles upstream of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 18.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
