Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area before 10 PM. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles west of Pope AAF, or 10 miles west of Fort Bragg, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Raeford, Fort Bragg, Aberdeen, Godwin, Pope AAF, Hope Mills, Spring Lake, and Eastover. This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 65 and 41.
