Glenn Bridge Park river access is experiencing minor flooding. Westfeldt Park is experiencing scattered flooding. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of Henderson County, North Carolina. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 809 AM EDT, Emergency management indicated a few roads remained closed in the northern portion of the county following heavy rainfall Monday evening and overnight. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain fell. Light rain may continue at times this morning, but not heavy enough to cause new flash flooding. Mud Creek however is reported to be rising, so drivers and residents of the area should remain on the lookout for water covered roadways and for minor flooding near creeks and streams, particularly in and north of Hendersonville. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hendersonville, Mills River, Fletcher, Flat Rock, Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock State Park, Valley Hill, Edneyville, Dana, East Flat Rock, Gerton and Horse Shoe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
