Light snow flurries or isolated snow showers will be possible as moisture availability and temperatures decrease across the area tonight. While the precipitation is expected to be very light, portions of southwest Virginia, northeast Tennessee, and higher terrain of the Tennessee mountains may pick up a dusting to a few tenths of an inch of snow accumulation. In addition, any residual water on roadways may freeze and form black ice as temperatures plummet into the teens. Be prepared for slick spots on roadways overnight into Monday morning, especially untreated secondary roadways. The morning commute could be affected. Use caution if you will be driving.
