SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Reidsville... and Camp Springs.

Locally heavy rain will quickly reduce visibility and result in ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage. * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Forsyth and Guilford. * WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 638 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Walkertown, Jamestown, Colfax, Sedge Garden, Belews Creek, Oak Hollow Marina and Belews Lake.

Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Henderson, Graham, Oxford, Roxboro, and Hillsborough. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 215. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 134 and 162, and between Mile Markers 259 and 280. the Durham Freeway between Mile Markers 4 and 17.
