A wind gust to 56 mph was recently observed at the Charleston International Airport as the back side of this shower activity moved across the airport. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Hanahan, McClellanville, Edisto Beach, Daniel Island, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Downtown Charleston and Fort Sumter.
