Data changes will appear in CAP following this deployment, 2) a new Coastal Flooding Statement has been created and could be issued for the same locations as the Coastal Flooding Warning, 3) more adjustments to the locations used for the coastal flooding alerts, 4) new Public locations around Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, 5) ECCC's initiative to introduce free-form polygons to represent the true threat area of a weather hazard continues, there will be changes coming to CAP and 6) other minor improvements and corrections. Hazardous snow squalls this morning. What: Additional snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 5 to 10 cm per hour. Very poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Continuing this morning. Additional Information: An intense band of lake effect snow continues to affect areas south and southeast of Lake Huron this morning. Snowfall rates of 5 to 10 cm per hour along with occasional lightning and thunder are occurring under this band. Conditions should improve later this morning. ### Travel will likely be extremely hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Very poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Continuing through Tuesday morning. Additional Information: A nearly stationary intense band of lake effect snow is affecting areas south of Lake Huron, particularly eastern Lambton County and western Middlesex County. As northerly winds become more northwesterly later tonight, the lake effect snow will begin to impact areas farther east and southeast of Lake Huron. Snowfall rates of 5 to 10 cm per hour along with occasional lightning and thunder are occurring under this band. Accumulations in excess of 50 cm are possible. The worst conditions are expected to remain to the west and northwest of the city of London. Conditions should improve Tuesday morning. ### Travel will likely be extremely hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible.
