Intense snowfall rates of 5 to 10 cm per hour at times. When: Tonight into Thursday morning. Additional information: Intense bands of lake effect snow off Lake Superior will continue tonight. Strong wind gusts near 60 km/h will lead to near zero visibility in snow and blowing snow at times. There remains uncertainty as to where the most intense snow squalls set up. Current indications are that the most intense snow may remain west of the city and affect areas near the airport. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways may be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
