Medina County in south central Texas... * Until 800 AM CDT Wednesday. * At 1134 PM CDT, Doppler radar, emergency management, and rainfall gauges reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain with ongoing flooding across the warned area. Between 4 and 13 inches of rain had fallen over the past 24 hours with up to 2 inches in portions of the warned area within the past 3 hours. Rain rates overnight could exceed 2 to 4 inches per hour at times. Significant Flash flooding soon could develop with numerous roads underwater and multiple water rescues occurring earlier today. Additionally, local creeks and river stems could quickly become even more swollen across the warned area, campers please be aware overnight. Travel is discouraged within the warned area.
