Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. In southeast Texas, Brazoria Islands, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Matagorda, Fort Bend, Galveston Island, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland Matagorda, Matagorda Islands and Wharton. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Areas along the coast, especially Matagorda and Brazoria Counties, received 6-8" of rainfall over the past two days. These areas in particular are vulnerable to additional rounds of rainfall over the next 24-48 hours, which brings the potential for flash flooding.
