SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Leon County. This includes Interstate 45 between mile markers 152 and 154.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CST Monday for a portion of northeast Texas.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Texas, including the following counties, northeastern Cherokee, eastern Gregg, Harrison, eastern Marion, northwestern Panola, Rusk and southeastern Smith. * Until 730 PM CST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 537 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
