Rainfall totals over the next 48 to 72 hours are between 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higher amounts of 4-6+ inches. Rainfall rates are expected to range from 2-4 inches per hour. Widespread 0.5 to 1.5 inches have already fallen over the last 12 hours. Convection has ramped up along a coastal boundary in conjuction with a shortwave from south Texas, increasing the flood potential this afternoon and evening.
