Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 942 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms stretching from Blum to Itasca to Italy to Rice. Radar estimates between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area in the next 1 to 2 hours. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northwestern Hill County in central Texas... * Until 115 AM CDT. * At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated stationary thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across northern Hill County from Blum to Itasca. Radar estimates between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the past 45 minutes near Itasca. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area over the next 1 to 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
