* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Callahan County in west central Texas... * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 256 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clyde, Baird, Cross Plains, Putnam, Rowden, Atwell, Admiral and Us-283 Near The Coleman-Callahan County Line. - This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 299 and 322. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 205 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of 1 to 2 inches due to thunderstorms in the advisory area, with additional rainfall of up to an inch possible. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
