At 652 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Palm Harbor to near Key Allegro to 8 miles south of Rockport to 8 miles northeast of Port Aransas. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Rockport, Lamar, Palm Harbor, Key Allegro, Holiday Beach, Copano Village, and Fulton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Fairly widespread totals of 2 to 4 inches can be expected with localized totals of up to 6 inches through Monday.
