When: Continuing through early this morning. Additional information: Northwesterly winds gusting up to 50 km/h will result in local blowing snow. Lake effect snow will lift north of the area this morning as winds become westerly. ### Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph through midnight. * WHERE...Central Chippewa, Eastern Mackinac, Southeast Chippewa, and Western Mackinac Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

Several layers of clothes will keep you warmer than a single heavy coat. Cover exposed skin to reduce your risk of frostbite or hypothermia.
