Snow squalls possible beginning this morning. What: Local snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm. Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow. When: Today and tonight. Additional information: Snow squalls have developed over Lake Superior and Whitefish Bay this morning. It remains uncertain if these squalls will affect portions of Superior East and Sault Ste Marie as they could remain over the lakes and Upper Michigan. If they do affect the area, strong winds could result in areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibility. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or post reports on X using #ONStorm.
Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Prepare for possible disruptions to transportation, services, and utilities.
