Heavy snowfall expected today. What: Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm. Locally in excess of 30 cm possible along the north shore of Lake Superior. Reduced visibility in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Diminishing later this afternoon or evening. Additional information: The heaviest snowfall amounts are most likely for areas between the towns of Nipigon and Wawa. Southerly winds gusting up to 50 km/h will result in areas of blowing snow further reducing visibility. Travel along Highway 17 and Highway 11 will likely be hazardous. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible.
