Snow and local blowing snow expected tonight into Friday morning. What: Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm. The highest amounts are expected toward the Ontario-Minnesota border with lesser amounts farther north. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: This evening through Friday morning. Additional information: Snow is expected to begin this evening and intensify overnight. Easterly winds gusting 50 to 70 km/h will result in blowing snow. Communities north of Highway 11 are expected to see lesser amounts as the most significant snowfall accumulations are expected along the international border. Conditions are expected to improve Friday morning as the system moves further east. Note that Blizzard warnings and winter storm warnings are in effect south of the international border where conditions are expected to be worse. ### Roads and walkways may be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
