* WHAT...Small stream flooding continues that was caused by excessive rainfall that fell Friday night. * WHERE...Southwest Cook, central and southern Lake and east-central St. Louis Counties. * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated. Flooding is occurring on area rivers that are popular for waterfall viewing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 455 AM CDT Saturday, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges show heavy rain that fell Friday night into early Saturday morning. This will cause small stream flooding. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain fell Friday night into early Saturday morning. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
