With temperatures falling back to near freezing in some locations, pockets of freezing rain will be possible across portions of the eastern Catskills through 8 PM this evening. Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution if driving or walking as some untreated ground surfaces may become icy and slippery. Temperatures are expected to slowly rise above freezing later this evening into the overnight hours ending the threat for freezing rain.
