A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM... Tampa Bay waters... At 755 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front in association with a cluster of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 11 nm northeast of Hillsborough Bay to near Anna Maria Island, moving west at 25 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
