Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM... * Until 830 PM EDT. * At 807 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 20 nm northeast of Buckeye Reef, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. * The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mayo, Perry, Steinhatchee, Madison, Greenville, Lee, Pinland, Tennille, Jug Island, Ebb, Clara, Buckville, Eridu, Dekle Beach, Jack Lee Island, Foley, Salem, Perry-Foley Airport, San Pedro Junction, and Hampton Springs.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding.
