A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 NM... Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM... At 1125 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 22 nm south of Cedar Key to 24 nm west of Anclote Key to 10 nm west of Egmont Key to 41 nm west of Venice Inlet, moving north at 30 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
