A stage of 15 feet on the Skykomish River corresponds to a Phase 2 in the Snohomish County flood program. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 PM PDT Saturday the stage was 14.75 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage later this afternoon and will fall later this evening. As the system passes, Southwest winds are expected to pick up with gusts ranging from 80-90 km/h, with a possibility of slightly stronger gusts.
