Where: Arrow Lakes - Slocan Lake, northern Kootenay Lake including Kaslo and southern Elk Valley including Fernie. Remarks: An intense Pacific frontal system moving across the interior will give heavy precipitation to parts of the Kootenays. Precipitation will begin as snow tonight before changing to rain overnight or tomorrow morning as snow level rises.
