Additional Information: A weather system will bring 15-25 cm of snow to Kootenay Pass tonight into tomorrow. The heaviest snow is expected overnight and Monday morning with snowfall easing into a few flurries Monday afternoon. This will be followed by moderate gusts, leading to periods of blowing snow late Monday afternoon. ### Travel will likely be challenging. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
