Where: - Neighbourhoods near Haro Strait Additional information: A vigorous frontal system approaching the BC Coast today will generate strong southeasterly winds for coastal regions. Winds will strengthen early this evening to southeast 70 km/h gusting to 90 near Haro Strait. Winds will ease and veer to southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 except gusting to 60 near Juan de Fuca Strait late this evening. ### Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches.
