The highest amounts are expected toward the Ontario-Minnesota border with lesser amounts farther north. When: This evening through Friday morning. Additional information: Snow is expected to begin by early this evening for Lake of the Woods before reaching Thunder Bay late this evening. Easterly winds gusting 50 to 60 km/h may result in local blowing snow. Conditions are expected to improve from west to east through Friday morning.
