This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Be mindful of cold, fast-moving water near rivers and streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional three quarters to one and one half inch of rain is expected to fall this afternoon into tonight. Eastern Cook County also has several inches of lingering snowpack. While rainfall rates are not expected to be heavy, prolonged moderate rainfall on top of saturated soils will lead to runoff. Area rivers and streams are already running at elevated levels and could rise to minor flooding levels with runoff due to the additional rainfall. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain is expected along the Beaver River near Beaver Bay * WHERE...In Minnesota, Lake County. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...At 700 PM CDT Monday... the Beaver River near Beaver Bay was at 15.65 feet and rising. As rainfall continues, the water levels are expected to continue to rise overnight to above Minor Flood Stage. At these levels, it is possible for water to be over the approaches to the Superior Hiking Trail Bridge. At 17 feet, several feet of flowing water is possible over portions of the Superior Hiking Trail on the north side of the river. People viewing Beaver Falls near MN-61 should be very cautious near quickly flowing water. Flooding is NOT expected on Lax Lake Road nor on MN-61. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM CDT Monday, rain is occurring, and will cause flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
