Several inches of accumulation, including over 6 inches of total accumulation near and south of a line from Redwood Falls to Le Sueur to Cannon Falls MN, will likely lead to travel impacts Friday night into Saturday night. The heaviest snow will fall around Interstate 90 corridor in southern Minnesota, with upwards of 10 inches of total accumulation through Saturday night possible. Lighter amounts are expected from west central Minnesota through the Twin Cities metro through Bloomer WI and points northward of that line. Overall, travelers should use extra caution and allow for extra travel time, including the possibility of moderate prolonged snowfall at times, which may lead to hazardous travel conditions. * WHAT...Snow expected.
