Amounts may vary widely over short distances. The snow will taper this evening as the system moves eastward through the Prairies. ### Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
