SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fruit Cove, World Golf Village, Picolata, and Bakersville.

The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 723 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 56 nm south of R2 Tower to 17 nm east of Jacksonville Beach, moving southeast at 20 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Intense lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
