Rhode Island Sound... Vineyard Sound... At 733 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to 25 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Hyannisport to near Gosnold, moving southeast at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Hyannisport, Squibnocket Bight, Nantucket Sound, Menemsha Bight, Great Point Light On Nantucket, Wasque Point, Lamberts Cove, Cuttyhunk Island, Gay Head Light, Nantucket Shoals Buoy, Muskeget Channel, Vineyard Sound, Long Point On Marthas Vineyard, Monomoy Point, Cape Poge Light, Point Gammon, and Edgartown Harbor.
