Westerly winds around 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph are expected in northwest and north central North Dakota through early this evening, with westerly winds around 30 to 40 mph and gusts to 55 mph in southwest and south central North Dakota. It will remain windy through tonight, with westerly winds increasing back to 25 to 35 mph and gusting to 50 mph Friday afternoon.
