* WHAT...Hazardous temperatures in excess of 100 degrees are forecast to develop Monday afternoon across valley locations in northwest Utah, particularly along the northern Wasatch Front and the Great Salt Lake Desert. * WHERE...Eastern Box Elder County, Great Salt Lake Desert and Mountains, Northern Wasatch Front, Salt Lake Valley, and Tooele and Rush Valleys. * WHEN...From noon Monday to midnight MDT Monday Night. * IMPACTS...Low temperatures into Monday morning will stay elevated in the upper 60s to mid 70s for most lower valley locations, offering little relief overnight.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
