Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

Natural and human-triggered slides are very likely. * WHERE...The mountains near Island Park, West Yellowstone and Cooke City. * WHEN...In effect until Mon 05:30 AM MST. * IMPACTS...Heavy snowfall on a snowpack with unstable weak layers will make human triggered avalanches very likely. * PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist. Backcountry travelers should stayoff steep slopes and away from the bottom of steep slopes. Avalanches can be triggered from flat terrain.
