The lowest humidities will focus over central and northeastern New Mexico while the strongest winds are expected in northern New Mexico. While fuel moisture remains near normal in portions of western and central New Mexico, the fast drying of fine fuels may support rapid fire spread. Wind speeds were the limiting factor that contributed to only upgrading a portion of the Red Flag Warning on Wednesday.
