Some isolated thunderstorms as far south as northern Lake County and as far west as Highway 96 with increasing storm coverage through Tuesday. Though storms will drop rain in their cores, fuels are very dry on the heels of high heat. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 283. * THUNDERSTORMS...Partially dry scattered storms over high terrain in the late afternoon and evening. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty and erratic outflow winds over 50 mph. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northern Trinity County.

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 447 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
