SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... New Orleans, Chalmette, Marrero, Harvey, East New Orleans, Timberlane, Belle Chasse, Metairie, Jefferson, Gretna, Westwego, Woodmere, Violet, Terrytown, Meraux, Poydras, Estelle, Arabi, and Lakefront Airport. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 231 and 255. Interstate 510 between mile markers 1 and 3. Interstate 610 between mile markers 1 and 4.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard. * WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1229 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain causing urban and small stream flooding in Belle Chasse due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Belle Chasse and the Westbank are the most likely places to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
